last Sunday …

The boys and Jenny took me snowshoeing last Sunday. I had a blast! It was the hardest exercise I’ve had in a while, but it was really great. I loved being outside.

As I sit here and write, Grace is pulling all of her bracelets out of her jewelry box and asking me to ”put this one on too.”
A lot has changed in the last year, including Grace. She speaks in sentences, counts, and is all-together a smart and amazing little girl.

I'm Rachel - mom, wife, youth minister, and student! I'm also a deployment survivor! My husband, Brian, is an OEF veteran and returned in June 2007 from Afghanistan. This blog has followed Grace and I while we made our way here at home ... and still now as we all adjust to being a family again and prepare for another deployment in 2009. Thanks for reading!
